In May of 2012, David sent President Barack Obama a signed copy of his first book “Danny and the Portal of the World” as a gift. A month later, he received an appreciation note from the White House signed by the President. The note was a surprise to David and his response was, “It means a lot to me. I really want to meet President Obama in person.”
When David takes a break in writing, he likes to play sports and music. In June of 2012, David composed his 1st piano music “The Nature Symphony” and performed the piece in front of the audience at his first recital at Alden Hall, WPI.
